Planning and management of the remodelling work opened in 1998

The author of the Concepció Market remodelling Project, and site manager, was the architect Albert de Pineda i Alvarez.
Albert de Pineda is an architect of the Escuela de Barcelona, who won the 1992 FAD award for building remodelling.
His collaborators in the work on La Concepción Market were: the architect Albert Vitaller; the technical architects Anna Granell and Francesc Xuriguer and Patricio Martínez, a student of architecture.
The heads of the project from the Board of Technical Services of the Municipal Institute of Markets of Barcelona were the engineer Ferran Fernández and the technical architect Santiago Re.
